Touchwood

The first Touchwood cots were designed and manufactured in 1988 when 2 furniture makers and soon to be fathers found that there were no well designed, well built nursery cots available on the New Zealand market.

Their unique design which was a multipurpose bassinet, cot, first bed and 2-seater sofa soon became very popular with all their friends who were also expecting new families.

With the introduction of safety standards for Australia and New Zealand, Touchwood cots became one of the first companies to have their cots fully tested for compliance and this was followed by being awarded New Zealand’s prestigious “S”-Mark Certification.
